Technology and social media are popular topics in higher education that impact advising in many ways. Social media offers many challenges to advisers, from learning the latest social media platforms to best practices for connecting with students It also offers advisers ways to promote efficiency and improve upon our practices.
To facilitate a more in-depth examination of these issues WNY Advising offered our second biennial drive in conference dedicated to social media and technology on May 19th, 2016.
