406+ Participants / 926 Registrants Panelists: #BlackLivesMatter & Racism in Advising
We recognize the importance and support #BlackLivesMatter and social justice issues in advisement and want to find a way to address them in our virtual event while centering Black voices and minoritized populations. The above advising and higher education professionals have volunteered speak on these issues. We recognize that this places a burden of educating others upon the panelists as it requires both emotional and intellectual labor, and WNY Advising will be compensating them for their service to our community. |
